This is completely off-topic, but does anybody know why he's part of the Cowboys podcasts? I was on our website and clicked on the segment that I really never watch, and when I saw him I was shocked. Didnt he play for the Eagles? Anybody know what's going on?

has a lot of ties to Texas, he's from Dallas and graduated from UT, and if i remember correctly he and his brother Sam (OLB for Chicago) grew up Cowboys fans

Philthy released him last year and is currently a FA. I'm guessing he wants a career in media / journalism after football (assuming his signed at some point in the future)

This. People in Texas, especially in Austin don't see EA as an eagle (me included,) he's viewed as a longhorn.

Side note fozzy Whittiker (sp?) was in Austin at pluckers for something for the horn. The DJ introduced him as longhorn running back FW not carolina's RB.

He'll have a limited career because his producer will hit the sneeze button to mute things every time he's introduced.

He went to high school in Dallas at St Mark's --one the more prestigious academic schools in the country, btw.
Then, as has been mentioned, he also went to UT.
He's a Dallas kid all the way.
