Forbes will be as good as Sauce Gardener. Book it.
Gardner is almost 30lbs heavier. Of course weight matters. It wouldn't if he's 180-185

Weaknesses
  • Below average foot slide to match the release.
  • Has issues staying in phase at break points.
  • Aggressiveness makes him a double-move target.
  • Needs to become more disciplined playing high to low in zone.
  • Plays out past his toes, leading to transition imbalance.
  • Grab-and-drag tackler lacking play strength.
This sounds just like Diggs bad tendencies. You guys go crazy on Diggs, you guys wouldn't be able to stomach Forbes.

Forbes is very much in play at 26 if for no other reason the cost of CB second contracts.
I think so too.

Covers their rear if Diggs does something crazy in Free Agency next off-season plus he is a playmaker on defense and I think that’s getting overlooked.

Think is lack of weight is being overblown by the fans as teams still view him as a 1st rd prospect.
I disagree. This is a big boy league and he is rail thin.

There's only so much punishment a body can take.

I like the player but the weight is a legit concern

Heard he is definitely going in the 1st rd, there might be some concerns, but teams are still very interested. His production was fantastic in the SEC, which many believe is the best conference in college football.

This it true but WHAT first round.........mid, bottom? That matters......coz if it is near the bottom, isn't showing their concern
There are three tier one corners, where Forbes/Banks are fighting to be the 4th corner taken. Both are excellent prospects and could be long gone at 26

Yeah, at least some overblown I think. I’m sure it is a concern but he has everything else that you want in a corner, so I think they they’re willing to overlook that.
I starting to think he doesn’t even make it out of the top 20

I worry about that as well. He’s a good player and I think the team’s are less worried about his weight than the fans and media.
Right now my top targets are him, McDonald and Kincaid or Mayer, unless one of those good OL fall like Jones or Wright

Forbes is 1 of any number of players that will be considered if available. Take the highest guy on your board.

I wouldn't want him standing between Derrick Henry and the end zone.

They act like he's 185lb which is usually very light for a cb/wr. I'm not buying 174. 7lb of water weight?cause no cb or wr is adding 7lbs of muscle in such a short time unless they're on roids.

For me, it is:

Forbes
Kincaid
McDonald
N Smith (longshot to still be there)
Gibbs (what can I say… I love this player)
Flowers

There are others but they’ll be gone like Bijan, JSN, Porter.

And obviously, I’d trade the whole draft to move up for Witherspoon.

I have Flowers right behind the 2 TE's. Wipeout scenario would then be the two Guards.

This morning on Good Morning Football on the NFL Network, Peter Schraeger said that Yesterday he was talking to the GM of one of the teams, and the GM asked Schraeger where he had Forbes.

Schraeger said, “I don’t know he is so light…”

The GM stopped him and said, “He’s light and he’s an absolute dawg.”

He said that GM loves Forbes.

Just a little tidbit but it gives an idea of how Forbes might be viewed by actual teams.
