Wonder if the Cowboys entertained any thoughts in putting in a claim for former # 1 draft choice Forbes from 2023 cut by the Commanders.

With Butler gone with injury Diggs limping around and the Burrow attack coming to town Rams got to him first .

He must have really underwhelmed Quinn to give up on a first rounder less then 2 yrs in.

If he was he couldn't have been too high. They are higher in the waiver wire than LA. However they would have had to take his contract

That’s a good point they would inherit the rookie deal of a number one draft pick still two yrs left on the deal rather then the two DB’s they brought in for less . Jerry’s “ all in “ has side streets .
