Emmitt or Dorsett

You have solid team with very good OLine but you gotta pick your RB… who you picking yo be your RB? And why?

This a very tough call. Dorsett is a threat every time he touches the ball to take it to the house but occasionally gets caught behind the los and Emmitt rarely gets caught behind the los but rarely takes it to the house.

TD for me, just everything about the guy, can take it to the house anytime and on those screen passes from Roger it looked like he was going to always take it to the house. Then takes a pitch out to the right and then zooms back across the field to the left and it’s goodbye.

Gotta go with the workhorse Emmitt, amazing balance and strength,,, I love running backs that are hard to bring down. Tony D could certainly fly though!

I would choose the genetically engineered super-RB......Emmitt Dorsett.

He would be great in the same backfield as QB Troy Staubach. They could win five SBs in a row when you add the third triplet, WR Ceedee Irvin.

#22 without a doubt. I loved TD back in the day, but Emmitt was on another level.

The only thing Emmitt lacked that Dorsett had was his speed. As much as I loved TD, Emmitt was the more complete RB (in my opinion).

I love Dorsett but he fumbled an awful lot. I think Emmitt is the more complete back.

Both were great - but I think Emmitt had the benefit of a much better O-Line in front of him. With that O-Line, I'd take Barry Sanders over either.

One of those "the oline made Emmitt", i think Emmitt's vision, balance and heart made the offensive line as a unit.

That being said, give me a prime Walker.

Dorsett didnt get caught behind the line that much, not like Barry Sanders often did. Id take Dorsett because of his speed

TD....easy choice for me
Emmitt turned me off his last few years a bit.........he cared more about stats ( catching Walter Payton ) than winning.

Emmitt, best big game RB I ever saw, just tough in any weather or stuation..........love TD very explosive, anytime, anywhere, but Landry for some reason shyed away from him in the post season......he did tend to fumble...

I asked my dad this question and he said TD was the better back but 22 was more important to the team.
