As part of a recent promotion for Xfinity Sports, Hall of Fame Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith printed out jumbo copies of tweets sent to him and autographed them. So he had a little fun with the activity.
Smith printed out a message from Sean Brace, a host on Philadelphia's 97.5 The Fanatic, that read "Cowboys Suck!" He then tore it up as somebody recorded the lighthearted moment.
"This is what I think about he and his statement," Smith said. "We suck so much he had to send me something in."
The game is just more than 48 hours away, and the back-and-forth between Eagles and Cowboys backers has gained steam quickly. Philadelphia leads the NFC East thanks to a better intra-division record, but both teams are 8-3 to this point. They square off twice in the next three weeks, with the first meeting Thursday at AT&T Stadium.
