I have been saying this. Just give him time. Kind of like being a rookie in the NFL. There will be mistakes, sometimes big mistakes but over time just like Emmitt as a player things will get a lot better.

Emmitt did trip over himself pregame, he went on some intelligble tangent about Dallas getting beat at Texas Stadium by the Eagles, which is why they would win tonight, but he's improving

Emmitt looked sharp and I didnt like they way Young kept yapping and not allowing ES to speak.

He is improving but he still makes horrible mistakes (ie Matt 'Hassel"). I would take either Irvin or Deion any day of the week.

Poked fun at him often last year. Hey it was funny.

He was MUCH better. But I wasnt suprised. Its how he is built... practice, rehearse - master it!!

I do remember at some point he had a flashback to last year... but he reeled it in before it got outta hand.

Actually, I thought TO was a little defensive for no reason. Steve was complimenting him and TO was rambling about what the media might or might not say. Yeah, it's true, but dude... don't let them get to you.

I did notice that Emmitt was trying to help TO a bit in steering him towards saying SOMETHING about his team instead of just talking about himself being the best WR out there.

Only part that makes you wonder at times about TO. As long as he is for the team on the field, I have no problem with him.
