AZCardinals.com reports Arizona Cardinals RB Emmitt Smith attempted to put a lid on recent rumors that he is looking to retire at season's end in order to pursue a coaching position at his alma mater, the University of Florida. Last week, Florida newspapers reported that Smith had told family members that he is being considered for a coaching position at the school. "I haven't been contacted by anybody or anybody inquiring for me to apply for a job, but there are bunch of rumors going around out there," Smith said. As for retiring, the all-time leading rusher said, "I'll make a decision sometime soon. I'll base it on how I feel about me. It has nothing to do with the team, or anything else, just whether or not I want to continue to play."
