there is a plugin that let you make it like a cartoon but it looks like the picture was like that, could be wrong though.

The Emmitt pic is from a print that I purchased and scanned...took out the background...then I used lighting effects to create some shadows and give it depth...the glow always brings an image "forward" so I added that after the lighting effects.

And Jacs is right...there are ways to make a picture look like a drawing...like the Landry pic in the Landry wallpaper that I made...

I have NO idea what anti-aliasing is...I'm pretty much a photoshop hack...

anti-aliasing is actually quite simple...

it adds pixels that blend into the background... thereby aleviating the jagged look...
