Emmitt was on The Pivot Podcast hosted by Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor a few days ago and talked about his dad a little bit. This makes it even harder. RIP Mr. Smith.

Prayers for his family

Met the man and the Smith family has my condolences. We also share losing a father on Valentines day.

Emmitt had really good parents and has a great family…I read The Emmitt Zone in 1994 and came away valuing my own family more so. He did a great job of demonstrating the importance of familial support and personal accountability.
