Any Given Sunday. I believe it's more than a cliche. This is the most emotional sport I know of. When a team is down and out that's when they're most dangerous. I'm talkin about a good team. that's losing by one or two plays. A turnover. A penalty. Whatever it may be. I've always said statistics are for the end of your career and Vegas. LOL . That's why division games. Throw out the records it's going to be a battle. I guess the point I'm trying to make is this. Put a good team that's losing and their backs are against the wall. That's the team I'm putting my money on. I don't care who their opponent is. Go Cowboys

I believe we stop the Saints running game Sunday night. We win that game . I don't know who has the emotional Edge. Neither team has the back against the wall. It will be interesting

Jimmy Johnson used to say there are usually around 6 plays a game that really can determine most games. And many times a few of those are just the way the ball bounces.
On a punt it takes a weird bounce, a tipped pass for a pick, or a completion.

Norm Hitzges on Mondays does a thing, 5 key plays from the losing teams point of view. As to what if that play went another way.
This can even be from a penalty.

Sometimes things just happen. The key is being good enough to overcome mistakes or just a bad bounce.
Like when Romo threw 5 picks in Buffalo, but yet got them in position to still win the game.

It is an early season game, and not a must win for either team. But it can have playoff seed implications later on.
However all games are really a must win to get to where the team wants to be, which is HFA. Just glad this game is early though. Same for the GB game next week.

The 2 games later in the year that will have, or may have more of an impact is the Bears and Rams. And of course division games.

Kamara does a lot more than run the ball. They get it to him in space in the passing game. That is where he is most dangerous.

I think it would be better to say that if we hold down Kamara, like we did last year, then we should win.

It's still not the point yes he does multiple things we stop him we win

Both teams are doing ok right now. The Saints are at home where they rarely lose. He before Brees the Saints hardly lost to the Cowboys at home. It is hard to win there, at least for us. They will remember last season and use Dlaws comments for bulletin board material from last season. Coach Payton isnt like Garrett . He does play for today but he remembers the last time he played you and he is going to try and kick your butt like you did his. This is going to be a good game. We need to think about getting a bye for the playoffs so that teams can come here . There is alot for both teams to play for. These games can bite you later on come playoff time.

To fit this post: This Dallas Cowboys Vid with Pacino's speech never gets old "Emotion, Swagger and heart": Pertains to life as well my Dallas Cowboy fans:

Their first 4 games are the toughest on the schedule & they're 2-1 so far. After Sunday the Saints should hit a long winning streak. I'm sure they'd like to beat us, but I bet they already think they're going to the post season.

Goosebumps love it. Live it

Somewhere on this board I said I would be judging this team vs the Dolphins.

I did not want us underestimating them or "playing down" to them. They passed that test by +25 points.

Every opponent in front of you has to be played like you are playing the Super Bowl.

Thus, "Any Given Sunday" is very true. Play as a team, play within yourselves and do YOUR thing. Do what you do best and never take your eye off of your goal.

Never overestimate or underestimate any other opponent.
