He also pointed out that when the game was tied 14-14 Dak basically did nothing on 5 offensive drives:
8 of 15 53 Yards 1 Fumble 0 Points scored
Dak lit it up in the 1st and 4th quarters but did nothing in the 2nd and 3rd quarters......all while Cleveland ran up the score.
The offense stalled because....
- Fumble by Dak
- Fumble by Zeke on the very next offensive play
- Offensive penalty
Then add the unproductive passing and running plays. That happens with every team.
You can overcome the unproductive plays, but not when you combine those with the 3 turnover and penalty mistakes. Especially when the defense is unable to stop THEIR 3RD STRING RUNNING BACK.
NO ONE is blameless in this loss and trying to blame just one or a few people in what happened yesterday is just showing poster's agenda.
On O:
If you want to blame Dak, you should throw in Zeke too.
If you want to blame Zeke, you should blame Amari too.
If you want to blame the offensive skill position players, you should blame the OLine.
In your blaming of the OLine, why in the hell were we leaving UDFA OTs 1-on-1 against one of the best passrushers in the game during long developing passing plays? I sure hope the coaches didn't draw it up like that knowing they had a CLEAR disadvantage.
Then on D:
IF you want to blame Jaylon, you should also blame everyone in the front 7. 300+ yards, with half coming from a 3rd string RB and a WR? Terrible.
Again, this was a team losing effort. To say otherwise or just pinpoint on a single player is foolish at best.
