Crowder is a WR, and unlike Dantzler at S, he's showing potential to be a player there

Holy cow. Is Crowder still on our PS? He's the bubble player I most wanted to make the team during TC.

Does anyone know how he's been progressing? There's so little mention of PS players...

I seriously doubt he'll be activated this season, but I expect him to make the squad next year as a ST specialist.

BP doesn't own up to mistakes huh? I guess cutting Jacob Rogers was a smoke screen then?

I think he also let go Wiley and admitted he made a mistake. Of course that doesn't make for as much drama but it is more accurate to say that just maybe Parcells and Zaxor have different opinions as to what is a mistake....

first Jacob Rogers is not cut he is on IR...Second Wiley wanted out of Dallas..
third Parcells said he had no need for a one dimensional player such as Jamar...if he re-signs him then he is in essance saying.. oh yes we do have a need for such a one dimensional player...Thus admitting a mistake...I have not seen him admit to a mistake except for way in the past but I have seen him blame the players...

I personnally had no feel for Jamar Martin either way...I did not say it was a mistake when he was cut nor did I say I agreed...atleast that I recall anyway...

No, Rogers was cut.

However, since he was injured and went unclaimed, he reverts to IR until an injury settlement can be negotiated. Since the injury settlement would have been for a full year, the result is financially the same as letting him spend the rest of the season on IR.

But make no mistake, he's cut.

If this happens, a player is cut, goes unclaimed, is put on a teams IR...is he still "cut" or is he still the property of the team?

I may be wrong but it would seem logical that the said player is still "cut".

He's still the property of the team, but he's most definitely done here in Dallas. Basically, I think at the end of the season, he's officially released. There was a question to Matt Mosley in one of his Q & As about Rogers and he said he'd run into him and basically he feels like he needs a fresh start elsewhere.

I could swear I saw this morning on the ESPN ticker that we'd signed Roger Cooper back to the practice squad. So did someone get promoted to the roster, or were we carrying less than the max on the PS before that?

Now that I've looked, I don't see any sign of this, so another option is that I'm losing my mind, too.
