Here's how I see it the NFC East playing out.
The Cowboys will go 2-3 over the next 5 games, winning only against the Raiders on Turkey day and the Commanders in Washington. The Cowboys will be 7-8 going into the last game vs the Eagles. The Cowboys will be 6-5 conference and 3-2 in the division.
Meanwhile, the Giants, will go 3-2 over the next 5, sitting at 7-8. Seattle and Detroit will get them. Giants will be 5-6 conference & 3-2 in the division.
The Eagles are the question mark in all of this. Watching the Eagles over the years they seem to Always stub their toe on certain games with certain teams. As luck would have it those teams are on their schedule down the streach. The Cardinals, the Bears and a team that they have no business losing too, in this case, the Vikings.
Also, they have been terrible at home. Last weeks win @ home was the 1st win at home in over a year. As luck would have it, 3 of their next 4 are at home. The Eagles will split the next 4 games. This brings the Eagles to 8-7 for their last game @ Dallas. Conference 7-4, division 3-2.
Washington is done, except as the spoiler.
Now, going by my scenario, even if the Giants win their last game, and sweep the skins, they're Done.
It comes down to the Cowboys vs the Eagles. The last 2 years it's been a win and your in scenario with the Cowboys. Each time going on the road and under performing to the Giants and Commanders. Now it's Phillys turn to try.
The only variable I didn't do with the Giants was common opponents, strength of schedule ect.. I don't know if that will change their outcome in all of this. Don't get me wrong, The Cowboys aren't done. In 09 they beat Philly, I believe that was a win or go home game.
What do you think? Think the Cowboys can finally man up and take it?
