"Enjoying" the playoffs

Rooting for my home town guy Mike Evans and the Buccaneers in the NFC. Rooting for the Bills in the AFC. This could be the kiss of death for both those teams as most of the teams I root for lose!!

I'd probably be rooting for Detroit if not for the fact that they became insufferable babies at the end of last year. Lost any respect I had for them.
Yeah but, come on...if that shoe had been on the other foot this fanbase and the players would have had the same reaction...also, it's likely them or Philly, soooo

What was the Civil War like?
Well you have to go back to Captain America's friend Bucky getting turned into a Russian asset and murdering Tony Stark's (Iron Man) parents. Then fast forward like 30 years to where Bucky returns as The Winter Soldier and kills King T'Chaka, setting off a manhunt and pitting The Avengers against each other as Cap tries to convince everyone Bucky is not at fault. Then Stark finds out that Cap knew about Bucky killing his parents and then it's all "You knew?" BOOM! 'SPLODE!!! "I can do this all day" KAPOW!! THWACK!!

Something like that.

I've been a Josh Allen fan since his Wyoming days. Also have a soft spot for Buffalo after The Four Falls. I could get behind Minnesota for the same reason. Just give me a different team and not the Eagles or Chiefs again. There are a lot of unlikely teams to win it all.
I'd love a Buffalo vs Detroit Super Bowl. Seems like it would be a great game and both cities are starved for a championship.

Since the Cowboys are not in it we should relax and enjoy the playoffs the best we can. Who do you like and dislike to win it all? Who will you be rooting for and against the most?

My choices:

Like to win: The Chiefs. Got to go the Reid/Mahomes combo. Experience counts in these games.
Mostly unlikely to win: The Steelers. Lots of candidates here. Would be a real shocker if anyone of 8 or so teams won it all.

I will be rooting for hardest: The Ravens. I like Lamar Jackson. I think the guy is an outstanding talent but lacks playoff success.
I will be rooting against the most: The Packers. Hated those guys going way back to the 1966 and 1967 NFL Championship games.
Since we are used to getting knocked out early, it’s not much change anyway.

Only teams I could see matching up well against the Chiefs in SB is the Lions or Rams. Eagles are not impressive and Darnold looked like Dak in the redzone last night. AFC only has one team that can beat the Chiefs and that's Buffalo.
Lamar Jackson is decent but dont trust him in the playoffs.

Crappy football is over till the draft.

Time to watch well run organizations and well coached teams
i agree - divisional weekend is the best 2 days of football, those games are always amazing unless the cowboys are choking!

I do not know what that war was like. BUT I do know and have witness ALL of the Dallas Cowboys history. And I still have my wits about me even though the past 29 years have been tiring and trying. At least the first 35 years were filled with great memories.
I'm just messing with you.

Football has just begun, playoffs. It’s an entirely different atmosphere.
Agreed. Some are just P.O.ed that the Cowboys aren't in the playoffs......Good grief I've known for a long time the Cowboys weren't going to the playoffs this year. Not only that but I don't want Dallas to go to the playoffs unless they're good enough to deserve it. What good are the playoffs if you just get embarrassed because you didn't belong there yet?

I can't see the Vikings even beating the Rams. I never fully bought into the Darnold hype and last night, laid an egg in the biggest game for Minnesota in years. He morphed back into his Jets days.

Bills absolutely have a shot. Potential Bills/Ravens divisional round game in Buffalo will be awesome. Winner most likely faces KC the next week in the AFC champ. Awesome matchups.

NFC will most likely come down to Detroit/Philly. The drop off from those 2 teams to the next tier is too big. The only question right now is how will Hurts perform in the playoffs coming off his injury.
I agree. Especially on Darnold. He's a Daniel Jones on a much better team.

It's not as exciting as it used to be for me. I still watch. But there is no uniqueness to any teams anymore.

Pulling for Detroit. I rather enjoyed their Hard Knocks, and of course would be happy for Dan. I know we have this rivalry thing going on with them now, and they hate us, but oh well. That's who I'm pulling for. KC probably going to get the threepeat though. Honestly, anyone but Philly.

I can be happy with several outcomes. Was really hoping Detroit could stay healthy & get it done but can't see them making it now. Give me a good team that goes out & wins it & I'll be satisfied.

I would like to see the Lions win... if not them then the Bucs. Just because I like Mayfield. Ehhh Maybe Buffalo... That 4x Super Bowl losses in a row was brutal lol.

It would be cool to see a team win 3 in a row. Lions winning would mean everything to Detroit. Bills would finally get monkey off back. No Eagles nor Washington

I check out after the season ends and watch the super bowl for the half time show. 28 years and counting...
