Wade Phillips and the entire coaching staff need to be ran outta town...PERIOD. This was a poorly coached and called game by every coach. Jerra needs to do something he has never done before and FIRE coach cupcake...give this team a wake up call now before all is lost!!

Let's all be honest here...this team has the talent to compete but the obvious truth is this team plays just like its head coach coaches...mediocre!!!

I agree with you I think the play calling sucks with the big offensive line that we have we should be pushing deffensive lines back a least five yards but we can't even score a touchdown from the 2 yard line. I kinda wished Jason Garrett had gone some where else to coach and us get a real offensive cordinator and also I think Tony needs a better quarterback coach as well.

didn't ray sherman call the offense in Minn when their offense was explosive?

Yep...it's simply not a "sharp" team.

Hurd needs to be aware enough to get out of bounds.

Romo needs to be aware enough to see Austin wide open on consecutive plays in the endzone at the end of the game.

Witten needs to be more than a blocker on those two plays.

Spencer HAS to catch that interception.

Romo and Austin HAVE to be on the same page on the int by Bailey.

etc etc...week after week, sloppy plays cost us the games. This team has yet to be physically beaten by another team this year.

So basically it's business as usual for our Dallas Cowboys. None of this is new stuff, they've been doing it before Wade and I have a feeling they'll do it after Wade.

Agreed.....and it keeps coming back to the soft style of our coach. There is ZERO accountability which is clearly demonstrated week in and week out, when guys who keep making the same mistakes, continue to be given opportunties to prove how dumb or incompetent they are.

I watched the Giant game prior to ours...they're a VERY aware team...very well coached.

3-4 plays seem to decide the outcome of the majority of NFL games and it seems this team of ours is always on the short side of those plays.

I've been watching since 1965 and don't remember ever watching a team that is more frustrating than this one...and it's been that way for years.

All we were missing were camera shots of Jerry in the suite yesterday.

I would love to have seen his skeleton face yesterday.

this team is lazy and laid back just like their COACH!!!

Yep. And what's the common denominator through those years? What's the constant in the equation?

Jerry.

It's called "The Broader Perspective" gentlemen.

The same problems we saw yesterday are problems we have had for quite some time and it spans multiple seasons.

Yep...and I think it's all about corporate culture and that's set from top down.

What you see on the field, just like with any business, is the product that is the result of the corporate culture...it's a direct reflection of the way the "company" is run.

It has been going on for years with coaches as different as Bill Parcells and Wade Phillips. And that's because the tone for the organization has been consistently set from the top down.

But that can't be, because he's like the greatest owner in the history of ownership. And being a great owner obviously translates to being a great GM.

I'm not sure if Norm Hitzges was just re-hashing old news, but yesterday on the Ticket Postgame show, Norm said Wade Phillips asked Jerry Jones to increase fines for players that show up late for meetings and Jerry Jones vetoed it.

Dan Reeves also hinted that players could go directly to Jerry Jones and bypass the Coaching Staff.

At some point, you have to start looking at Jerry Jones as a part of the problem and not the solution.

It's not even a matter of his GM capabilities because he could hire a GM and do the same thing...that is, set a tone where this type of thing continues.

At some point, when we've seen this happen time and again, through different eras of coaches, players, etc...and the one thing that doesn't change is Jerry, ya gotta simply come to grips with the fact that his management style AIN'T a good one. He may be a great marketing guy...he may be great at making money...but the product on the field leaves much to be desired.

Jerry is going no where until he is six feet under. Deal with this.

This team is not good, not inspired, not hungry, and just not that good.

The coaching staff is here to stay this season. Next year, maybe a different story.

Enjoy this ride. I think it's gonna get a lot, No, wait, I KNOW it's gonna get worse, as does everyone else in here knows.

I'll say it... looks like some of the same problems as last year, though last year Dallas had injuries and .... to blame. What's the problem this year?

The defense did as good a job as it could for as long as it could. But when the offense turns the ball over in the redzone, that doesnt' help. From what I could see, the defense on that Marshall TD just looked tired. That was the longest play they gave up all game (only 20+yd gain).

The offense though was OFFENSIVE. Ok, 67 plays: 42 pass, 25 run. Balance? Where'd the balance go? How can you know if the run's working or not if you don't run the ball enough? Garrett's too much a darn QB or Romo audibles out of the run too often. I dunno (hard to tell watching it live from as high up as we were haha)

Agreed, this team is Jerry's problem and I seriously doubt he has any intention of changing anything anytime soon. Jerry's ego will simply not allow him to see himself as the problem and I believe this team will continue to falter as it is a reflection of its management.

I quit being a fanatical emotional follower of this team years ago and have become a veteran train-wreck watcher who watches without emotion the events he cannot influence. Jerry's the only one who can do anything and he's not gonna.

On the bright side, he has helped me become more objective in my football watching. May the team that plays best win the game.

Same deal with me. I used to schedule my entire weekend around the game. I don't miss games but yesterday, I had a house full of people during the entire second half...that never would have happened in the the past.
