Sorry, I am about done with these lets blame so and so treads..... This whole team from front to bottom has at least a little bit of dysfunction going on..... There is not many position you can say played lights out. Well maybe the center and the long snapper. Chris Jones showed he belongs but got snubbed by the Pro Bowl voting..... Of course Bailey is still Bailey but hit a rough patch returning. But beyond that, each position could be improved. This is not to say we need to replace all other players, just saying it was a team effort to become what we were this year.....

Not one receiver showed up this year. Each showed flashes but not a single one showed me great skill..... Ok Ok, lets blame the QB..... While he surly slumped this year, it was many of his plays running out of the pocket that created what we did get.... Don't get me wrong, both had issues big time. Then there is Zeke, while averaging 1600 yards this season (if not for suspension) came in heavy and was flat. He still grinded out some great yardage but the powers that be allowed the QB (which wasn't ready) to decide play action pass. Then there is the offensive line that didn't really gel til late and then had to weather injuries most of the season anyways.

We then have the defense..... The secondary started to show up late after letting the rookies play and take some time away from O'scan though I think injury had more of a part in it. Either way it took time to develop and while it is still a work in progress, might be a plus in the future. Then it is our pass rush. Irving did his part but missed games to concussion and a suspension.

Then there is Dlaw. Wow what a presence he made this year. If not for some refs screwing Dallas in penalties not called this year, he played as best he could. Why oh why does it have to happen on a contract year? He showed flashes before but was always injured. To franchise or give a big contract? You decide......

Jaylon Smith and Taco..... Again showed flashes late this season. Like all newcomers they needs time. Either way they were not much to gloat about this year. (I truly hope to gloat about them next year though....)

Last there is Sean Lee.... Lord knows we would be far worse without him. Then again we would be far better with him not so injure prone and was able to play his position. Every time Lee was Injuried, we lost Hitchens to his position and had to add a new player to the MLB position. It helps Jaylon learn his position while injuried, but doesn't help the team win now.

Now don't get me started on coaches and the GM. Still dealing with a mental handicap there. Player evaluation is misty at best. Allowing a 4th round QB decide his own options is a no no until he proves he can handle it after defenses have seen a year of play by him. Trying to prove this scheme before the salary cap was implemented can still win championships is also a no no. Letting a rookie HC try to do so is just insane. Like with all ideas, there is a time to say enough is enough. We need a new strategy and we all have to agree.......

Just don't tell me we need to replace one person to change it all. Even Jerry's removal does not fix what needs to be done. Not Jerry, not Garrett, not anyone else. The culture needs to be replaced. Not just the ideas.

I'll offer that Garrett most get this team poppin next year. This off season is as big as I've seen since I started watching.
The offensive line is my biggest concern. TSmith can go out anytime. The OT in this draft are thin I've read.
This might be the off season the JJones buys some talent. Lets see.

Replacing one person will indeed change it all.. That is guaranteed. Unfortunately for us, that one person happens to dance on Jerry's strings.

And the next guy won't? He will or he won't be around long.

The only one person replacement that would change the culture of this team is the guy holding the strings. Sadly, that's not going to happen.

You have to replace Jerry to change the culture.
Well im better off jumping off a cliff then. No one is replacing him except when the reaper comes for him. Should pay someone to go "horrible bosses" on him.

Only at the GM position. He can still own the team. But as long as he's calling the shots on personnel, we will never go anywhere. But we know that is not happening.

You still need to replace this coaching staff, though. They are god awful. Especially Linehan. I don't know why we thought some Detroit Lions rejects before they became respectable would make this team better.

I don't really agree with that. That we can never, ever win with Jerry. I think you can. You just can't win consistently with him. With parity around the NFL you just need to be a good team that gets hot at the right time. We've seen the Cowboys come reasonably close a few times in recent years. I think it can be done. You can overcome him one year.

What can't be done is be New England or Pittsburgh. A consistent winner.

I agree with this. Remember when Dallas used to be a consistent winner?

Have another drink, I feel your pain!

You have to replace Jerry to change the culture.
For some reason, I've been in agreement with you lately. We need the fans to boycott Jerry Jones and that stadium. Sell all your tickets to other fans if you're a season ticket holder. Don't show up to games, period. Boo Jerry Jones anytime his face shows up on the big HD screen, and don't ask for autographs when he's around. Don't show up for the Draft party, if you want to win Super bowl, you HAVE TO DO THIS.

Stop supporting Jerry Jones, at all. 22 years is bull****.

You have to replace Jerry to change the culture.
Dead on correct....Players don’t feel accountable to coaches when they know they can plead their case to uncle Jerry......He’s got to disappear or it will be more of the same and 22+ years is quite the “trend”, to say the least

It's an offensive league. The NFL wants that. Defenses are too handcuffed to be championship caliber anymore.

This team has two problems:. The QB and a vanilla offense.

The league is no longer "the more talented team wins". The league is now "an elite QB and a creative scheme" league.

Look at San Fran, and Philly. San Fran gets a QB and they are all of a sudden pretty good. Philly gets Nick Foles and they are all of a sudden very pedestrian. Same players, same scheme, just different QBs.

JG is just a rah rah clapper. This team needs a young OC. An up and comer. An Ivar "the boneless". One who thinks outside the box, tricks the enemy, and revels in the glory of victory.

Only chance we have is get a new HC get hot and win a lot of games because of the change. It happens a lot in pro sports, Rams, us when Wade took over, etc. I know Harbaugh or a Gruden isn't going to be here for 10 plus years and I'm fine with that. But if you win me a SB I don't care! I've never been a fan of the long tenured coaches myself, unless you are like Belicheck and each week is something new on the field.
