Sowell has hands at FB, and would be another Weapon for Bledsoe ala Richie Anderson was. I like Fabini at a Vet min to battle Petitti and team depth.

I'd rather have Sowell as fb than the coached up FB's we have had in here the last couple of season's.
Using our TE's as fb's has not worked well for us in my opinion.
Guys like Lorenzo Neal and Mack Strong pave the way for Tomlinson and Alexander.
I like the idea of a great blocking FB in here.
Agree with Nor on TO.
Just imagine this...if we did sign Mawae and then signed TO...Mawae currently has a sound bite for the Jim Rome show saying how he wouldn't want TO as a teammate...Just what you would want to start out the freak show of TO on your team!

You folks act like BP is only focusing on "his guys" - it is coincidental that the jets just released a ton of good players -- several who BP has experience with. It isn't like we went out and signed these guys right after they were released though is it? If BP was so focused on "his guys" they would have been signed last week. Obviously we are looking at some younger guys -- especially on the OL.

Fabs, Sowell, Mawae will all get consideration -- but not until we look at other options.
