Get used to it. Power outages are a regular occurrence in countries not blessed with our infrastructure. I think everything we are experiencing right now is as the article states… a warmup. Lack of energy infrastructure grid in Texas, lack of water out West, lack of food and supply chain lines nationwide (Have you seen the price of eggs lately?), inability to stop viruses coming out of Asia…. The country, and the world, can’t support overpopulation and consumer heavy economies 24/7. Like the famous MIT study predicted, society starts to collapse in about 20 years. The pandemic exposed how vulnerable we are, and it’s only going to get worse.

You going to loan those people the money to plan accordingly? And that's assuming they can even get a weather forecast. The last I checked the homeless don't have TV's.

It’s true that most homeless don’t have TVs, but bizarrely enough an inordinate number of them have cell phones (and use free wifi).
