How would you folks feel about taking Equanimeous St. Brown in Round 3 or later, even if we take another WR in Rounds 1 or 2? Most of the profiles I have seen suggest he is a bit of a project, ie. needs refinement to work on his route running, but I like what I see. He is big and fast and catches with his hands. Also, most of his lack of production in his senior year seems to have stemmed from the trouble at QB.

Thoughts and ideas?

I see him possibly going in the 2nd, but if we have not grabbed a WR and we get to the 3rd rd, I would be very happy with that depending on whoever else was there

also, being a huge ND fan, it would make me kinda silly happy

Also, even though this is not a real qualifier, he's fun to watch play.

I felt he had a disappointing year and should of came back for another year.

I like him better than Sutton, a little less so than Moore or Miller. I doubt he'll be there for our 3rd pick, but would be ok taking him over Miller in the 2nd if this staff wants a true X to develop.

Largely because of the QB play last year.

And I suspect NDs QB play won’t be massively better this year.

Nice player to develope
If I didn’t have a WR by 3rd rnd I’d look at him but I think he goes in 2nd
At some point in the 2nd there will be a run on these so called second tier WR

Why does everyone think St Brown needs to develop so much? What is it that he needs work on? Seems like it’s only because he didn’t put up stays in college?

From what I read, it's because of his route running. But being ignorant as I am about route running, he appears to do just fine to me. LOL!

I think his footwork is awkward. Maybe it's because he's so long-legged but he seems to have trouble with sharp cuts without his legs getting tangled.

he's a pet cat, and I would love to get him on the team.

I think he ends up getting picked in round 2.

no...guys I like later:
•DaSean Hamilton,Penn St
•DJ Chark,Lsu
•Marcell Ateman,Osu
•Daurice Fountain,N Iowa
•TreQuan Smith,UCF
•Davon Grayson,E Carolina

I could see him go very high in the third but generally, I think you are right. If we wanted him, assuming no trades, I think we would need to take him at 50.

I, personally think that St. Brown has the upside to be the best WR in this draft. He has everything you need to develop into a dominant WR in the NFL.

That's just my opinion.
