Eric Ebron released

Only 24 years old which is fantastic, but could never put it together despite being in an offense where he should have posted good stats. He'll never be a good blocker which seems like a must with the way we execute our running game.

At the right price, no problem with bringing him in, but as always, some other team with more cap space will offer a sweeter deal.

Ebron REALLY seems like the type of guy to take the money and run. He never improved in 4 years in Detroit, and I don't think a big money contract will change that.

I could see this if Witten gave the FO any idea that he was retiring otherwise it’s not happening

Sign him up, better than what we have. Just needs a change of scenery

I'm not saying he is the answer but he could fall down on the grown in front of the defender and be more effective of a blocker than Witten is.

We have some other needs besides TE to get overly bold about signing more help at the TE position.

Perhaps we should first discover approximately what Rico Gathers and Jarwin Blake might do for us?

We may be facing our deficiencies on the d-line, LB, WR, OL and SS first before trying to resolve that.
