— Two one-time underrated prospects, Wisconsin’s T.J. Watt and Bowser, likely won’t make it to the Cowboys at No. 28. If they do, I expect one of them to be the pick. McKinley might be their ideal target if he slips.

— UCLA’s Takkarist McKinley, who has been mocked as high as the top 10, does not have a lot of high or even mid-first-round grades, and I firmly expect him to be taken somewhere after the top 20, if not out of Round 1 altogether. His shoulder surgery has played a part in it. The Cowboys would be a great fit.

Tis smoke season but Corey Davis as a dark horse represents big value IMO.
its hard for me to understand how an minor injury could derail his stock so much,He is better than Mike Williams and its not like Williams doesnt have major injury concerns either.I really hope we pick him,he is a YAC monster.

Timing plays a part. He's missing a vital part of the process. We like to think it doesn't matter, but there is a reason teams pour so many resources into the combine process. Mike Williams ran a 4.5 at 6'4", 218. Davis is a ?.

Also, I'm not sure the professionals think Davis is better than Williams. The same mock draft community that bumped Davis over Williams was way off on Seastrunk and Lee, to pick two examples. This is when the pros start chiming in. If Davis is truly getting 2nd round grades, I'm inclined to think he was overrated and never truly valued over Williams by the actual market.

Edit: That said, I have no idea who Galko is and he could be lying or have very low level sources.

I read a report I believe on Sportsday that Barnett might make it to our pick. I highly doubt it but if he does, he should be the pick and it would be the steal of the draft.

So 14 Edge guys are going in the top 20, 10 CBs, 6 safety's, and don't even get me started on all of the QBs who are going to go... Seriously, this guy must hang out here or something because nobody is going to make it to 28 apparently. We might be taking Mr irrelevant at 60 with Atlanta and NE not having anybody left to take that's draft eligible.

Other than like 8 players Ive seen just about every single player being drafted in the top ten and the very same player at the end of the first ie early second. Its either a huge bs fest or these scouts are truly all over the place with these guys.

Wether it's Peppers, Watson, Davis, Conley, Barnett, Cook, Harris, White, Reddick etc. they could go top ten or be there for us depending on whos mock you look at.

Gonna be real fun to see how this all shakes out
