The rest is easy to explain: Cowboys' defensive coordinator likes tall, lengthy cornerbacks and Scott Jr. provides exactly that. The only other two cornerbacks in the class with a longer wingspan were Joey Porter Jr. and Julius Brents, both of whom were drafted within the Top 50 selections.

That's it right there.

But you know who else has a large wingspan? Nahshon Wright.

Ok. Can someone else actually watch that video and tell me how they don’t believe that video is sped up to like 1.2x speed?

I watched it like 5x because I was amazed at his foot speed, but I swear I started noticing some weird stuff with the trees in the background and one car seems to randomly change speeds at the end of one his drills.

If that isn’t doctored, he may be another Darin’s Bland, but man his feet seemed inhumanly fast in the last minute of the video

Scott lacks agility and fluidity. Translation: He's awful in man coverage. Strictly a zone corner. And the problem w/ that is even in zone, at times a CB is going to have to stick w/ a WR.

Yeah, he played a lot of man coverage at USM. Al Harris specifically said that he was used in college much in the same way that he’ll be asked to play coverage in Dallas. He said that most college teams use primarily zone, so you don’t get to watch him play the same way he’ll be used in the pro’s. But Southern Miss played a lot of man coverage so they know that Scott can do it. He said it was good to get a chance to see him play how Dallas will use him.
