Anyone who's seen Weddle knows he's a player. Even if he isn't quite fast enough to play corner in the NFL, and regardless of the color of his skin.

Parcells would have loved this guy.

I am not bad mouthing him.. And I have seen him play.

But to compare him to Antrell Rolle and Comrartie in speed is just silly.

Cromratie was one of the highest recruited athletes out of Florida. He ran that 40 on his rehabbed knee that he tore the summer before. Florida state doesn't play ball in the WAC where speed is scarce.

Antrell Rolle played at The "U" where and in a conference that speed prevails. I am not questioning the guys desire, heart or even his testing results. He is a player with some potential, that played ball on smaller stage. He could be a contributer or even at starter.

Just not a pro corner. If T.O can run by 4.2 Deangelo Hall on a double move , imagine what this guy or any 4.5 corner would do.

If Dallas picked him , I wouldnt mind. He can contribute on punt, kickoff, maybe some dime. But in the later rounds, not first 3. They have other needs

Rolle isn't exactly the best example of a speed corner... Even if he did play at the U.

Anthony Henry probably isn't a 4.5 forty guy. Especially when he plays with nagging injuries. Still effective. A 3rd or 4th round pick for this guy or any other player with a similar skill set would be a good thing. Most of the guys touting him are pushing for him as a safety and not a corner, but he does sound capable of being a back up corner if necessary. Versatility is a plus.
