Colts just signed Erik Walden, who was rated as one of the worst 5 starting 3-4 OLBs in the entire NFL last year to a 4 year $16m deal.

If Erik Walden is worth $4m/year -- Spencer has to be worth $10-12m.

Spencer will be paid as a DE so he may be close to $9-10 million/year.

The guaranteed $ is what I care about because he's 29.

Probably looking at 5 years, $45-50 million with $25 million sining bonus for Spencer.

Which is painful because I can't see him playing at a high level past the age of 31-32.

...about Walden: he was the WORST Gbay defender on the field vs Frisco last year. THey isolated him on Kaepernic in the playoff game a couple times and....I'm pretty sure I wouldnt have whiffed any worse....it was laughable.
