Art's not in shape?

gotta give em credit the topic was okay!!!

I like Carp but I dont think he starts from day 1 infact with the Ellis thing I dont see how he gets much playin time! Maybe along the lines of what Burnett got last year!

Watkins is a project! he is a bad WR playing FS who got away with it in college!!! I will say this if Watkins plays well watch out every one in the league will try to get a 6-4 guy in the backfield!!!

McIntosh... he is a Miami LB! he will at least contribute until he becomes FA and asks for a ton of money!

Wilkinson... from what I read and the video clips on yahoo!! He fits well with what they have (speed)!!! reminds me of dat with less awareness!!!

Gocong... DE playing LB in a 4-3. Oooohtay buckweat! I do recall gocang at the combine and thinking he looks good running around bags... and then again I thought if he looks good to me he will probally reek!

The bottom line is the Eagles have EARNED the right to be considered the favorite in the division until someone beats them HEALTHY. The Commanders are the most talented/complete/varied team in the division by a substantial margin. No team has the skill players to spread the field effectively or pound it inside. To play zone or man in the secondary. The Commanders can do more things due to the more versatile pieces we have than any other team in the division. If Mark Brunell is healthy and playing like he did MOST of last year, we should probably win the division should we not suffer severe injury elsewhere that saps us.

The reason the Eagles deserve the tip of the cap is because like us, they have the division's only TRUE, proven, dominating defense when healthy. Like us, their defense is capable of dictating to opposing offenses. Forcing them to change gameplans because of the potency, skill and, most importantly, design and prep of the unit. That coupled with an effective offense and solid leader in McNabb would make them an easy pick for the top of the division.

I happen to like our whole team more than theirs as I'm sure Eagle fans would given how one dimensional they are offensively by personnel and design, but, until they are beaten healthy, or until they are no longer mostly the same team, they deserve the respect they've earned.

Hahaha! :lmao2:
Art is well paid by Dan Snyder. Though I am sure he would say that crap for free.

They might just be right. But to end all talks on all sides of the NFC EAST. We'll see once the season starts and end who's better maybe the Cowboy fans can say we'll see at superbowl time who's better and who's not.

To officially end all talks. WHO HAS MORE SUPERBOWL RINGS COWBOYS OR Commanders?

I WONDER. :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

DWinzit has a reputation for mundane comments with zero elaboration. Pay him no heed, please.

While I have my hopes for McIntosh, it would be foolish to claim that he'll have a better career than Carpenter. It's foolish to say that any of them will have better careers than the other at this point.

There's always that Ryan Leaf/Tom Brady aspect that looms. You simply never know.

Hell, give em a break, I can't stand our #1 pick either. Hell, alot of Cowboy fans can't when you come right down too it. I mean talk about reaching for a player whose entire college career may or may have not been a direct result of playing opposite AJ Hawk. Just too big of a risk to take on a mid-teir guy in the middle of the first round in many of our eyes...or at least in the minds of those who don't gulp down the kool-aid without thought. We realize he's "suger-free" and nodbody is likely to get very "fat" off of this pick, almost like we went on a 'diet' instead just to fill a hole.

Let me guess, you wanted Manny Lawson?

Bec he didn't benefit from playing on a DL with 3 1st rounders.

Or did you want Wimbley, who benefitted from having Brunkley on the line with him?

Fact is, every draft pick benefitted from the team they had. Holding it against them is asinine.

Maybe....just maybe...The relationship between Hawk and Carpenter was mutually beneficial?

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Carpenter accomplished quite a bit that cannot be taken away from him. HE MADE PLAYS. Only true morons would discount THAT.
