He'll go to an organization that knows how to use him and turn into a servicable player.

I think Escobar as a receiver and not just in the red zone either is a viable weapon. He never was used correctly nor should have been drafted here because of the lack of use. Witten is entrenched here till the day he isn't.

He's going to miss a whole two games this season... not a big deal. How many games does this injury cause him to miss next season?

I'm sure the Cowboys are already planning to draft his replacement in the 2nd round. Two-TE set forever!

DAL can't cut him if he is hurt, so he probably starts on the PUP. They will see how he is doing midseason and go from there. His impact will be less than this year, so nonexistent.

Yeah, just like Demarco Murray, Laurent Robinson, Marion Barber, and Miles Austin did. Everybody thrives when they leave here. Waaaahh!!!

Right. So some improve when they leave while others regress. Just like what happens to the other 31 teams. It's nothing to cry about.

you think that ends his career?

In Dallas. I'm not sure if he is under contract next season. But usually looking at a year recovery so he will miss a lot of the season if under contract.

Just another wasted and terrible pick by this FO. Nothing against him as a player. He has shown flashes that he has talent. But our coaching staff has no idea how to use him at all and he never sees the field. Would not be surprised if he goes somewhere else and shows he can actually play like Marty B did.
