Escobar To Visit With Chiefs *Signed with Chiefs*

Well hopefully he gets another shot. I'm sure he has a family to support.

I didn't like the pick but with Witten never leaving the field here, he didn't have a chance.

He probably came back too soon from his injury last season, amazing how fast he healed.

Just like Fasano and Bennett, he will go on to have another 4-5 years in the NFL.
I don't see it with him. Fasano and Bennett could both offer something he has never been able to develop and that is the ability to block.

If you are going to be a successful lower tier TE or second/third TE on someone's roster, you cannot be a klutzy receiver type of player.

Too bad, I thought he had a good upside that was undeveloped. Watch him explode elsewhere, win a SB with NE and then sign a multiMillion dollar contract....hmm, haven't I heard that before.

The upside he had probably exists more in the fact of what we spent on him.

If he was oozing potential, he would have been signed by now. Free agency is over.

I think so too DBOY. Dallas has shown a propensity to get it right when it comes to TEs, they just don't know how to use them while on the Cowboys roster. Pablo will likely go on to start for several years in the League. Andy Reid and that WC offense may be the perfect fit since the TEs associated with it are more receiving TEs than "complete" TEs.

I don't think he is nowhere near Bennett's level. Bennett was an okay player for us considering he played with Witten in his prime. He is a player that I am sure the team would've resigned but he knew him and his wife knew he could get big money elsewhere. It didn't take long for Bennett to get a job as a starting TE...Escobar is hoping for a chance to earn a roster spot at this point.

Not according to the all knowing Alexander. Lol
