On a positive note, I am excited to see this guy play a lot more next year.

Hanna ended up being a waste and in retrospect maybe they should have force fed the #2 TE role to Escobar sooner this season.

Escobar has a long way to go in the weight room, but goodness, watching him catch the ball is a thing of beauty.

He needs to take Witten's role in the passing game.

Until Witten is gone or Garrett is replaced Escobar sightings will be rare. Witten is still the starter and Garrett doesn't seem interested in using him much when he is on the field.

He has the potential to be a play maker when his time comes, though.

Last night finally gave me hope with the dude. He and Dez in the red zone would really cause problems for defenses.

He has potential, but Witten still has at least a couple seasons left I would think.

Tune is changing on him, at least. He catches what you throw at him.

My question is if you throw 46 passes why not give him a couple more looks after that great play he made for the score?

I can't believe they didn't use him more last night. Why they keep running flare routes to Witten is ridiculous. Talk about a pattern where that should not be an option.

I never hated Escobar but i did feel like the 2nd pick could be used on another position, having said that i believe this kid can play and i blame his lack of production on Garrett. We keep thinking some of these guys can't play but as seen with Bennett it's just a matter of them not being coached right. GB has speed and judging by his endzone flip he has athleticism as well, Hanna is a speedster as well and he needs more PT or we're going to have another Anthony Fasano situation.

Another awful utilization of the talent we have. I can only imagine what Sean Payton would be doing with him .

I completely agree. I thought they may have dialed a few more plays to Escobar, especially after that effort which told me quite a bit about the kid that I didn't know before.

And maybe I'm wrong but Dez is puzzling to me. He ran some lazy routes last night and seemed like he took plays off when he didn't think the ball would be thrown to him. Same with Williams who slowed down on that deep pass down the middle.
