More by Beasley but the issue is just too many weapons and not enough ballsSorry the position has been filled by Terrance Williams.

With the way the offense is set a blocking TE seems a better fit

Linehan prefers Beasley and the 11 package, apparently over the 12 package, fairly simple. As long as Linehan is is the OC, Escobar will sit on the shelf collecting dust.
in all fairness we dont use Escobar enough, we don't know what he can or can't do....I doubt Witten is gonna be standing on the sidelines while we try and findoutThat feels like an oversimplification. Since Escobar has been here, the playcallling has gone from Callahan to Garret to Linehan. As far as the 2nd round TEs were concerned, I think Fasano and Bennett were solid players that were underutilized, but Escobar just doesn't seem that good. He's got one thing that he does well, but so do a dozen journeymen TEs around the league.
This is like a bad game of musical chairs. We drafted three guys early at the position to eventually take over for Witten. The first two were good but the timing was wrong. This one is in the right place when the music stops but doesn't know how to find a chair.
