I agree it's very interesting. I note that Romo is second only to Ryan in terms of clutch-weighted expected points added on a pass play. He's near the bottom on run plays by a QB.
Part of the reason for that is obviously that Romo doesn't get many "called run plays". But I also wonder how much is due to a bad O-Line.
It will be interesting to see how long it will take defensive coordinators to catch up to the read option/pistol/whatever-you-want-to-call-it offensive; or if they ever will and how they will do it.
Wilson and Kaerpernick are both accurate enough to succeed in a conventional offense, IMHO. Kaerpernick's only weakness, that I see anyway, is his timing in throwing the ball. He tends to wait until the receiver has come out of his break and/or cleared the defender before he throws it. His strong arm let's him get away with that to some extent, and it is something I think he will improve upon as he gains more experience.
