Thought this was interesting. Both Kapernick and Smith were in the Top 10. Also, we are seeing some changing of the guard with some younger QBs, including Wilson, Griffin and Luck just missing the top 10 at number 11. This is going to be some kind of QB class if they continue to improve.

I agree it's very interesting. I note that Romo is second only to Ryan in terms of clutch-weighted expected points added on a pass play. He's near the bottom on run plays by a QB.

Part of the reason for that is obviously that Romo doesn't get many "called run plays". But I also wonder how much is due to a bad O-Line.

It will be interesting to see how long it will take defensive coordinators to catch up to the read option/pistol/whatever-you-want-to-call-it offensive; or if they ever will and how they will do it.

Wilson and Kaerpernick are both accurate enough to succeed in a conventional offense, IMHO. Kaerpernick's only weakness, that I see anyway, is his timing in throwing the ball. He tends to wait until the receiver has come out of his break and/or cleared the defender before he throws it. His strong arm let's him get away with that to some extent, and it is something I think he will improve upon as he gains more experience.
