As expected the 49ers fired Tomsula. Dude was setup for failure. The SF ownership is far worse than Dallas. That place is a dumpster fire.

Dumb. If you hire a coach you should at least give the coach 2-3 years to build his team.

He was never set up to succeed; a QB carousel, defensive retirements and a roster that just wasn't very talented. 5-11 is about where I would have projected them to be anyway.

I really do think this is a bid to bring in Kelly and let him take care of shopping for the groceries as well.

No way chip gets a HC job in the NFL next year. Too many players despise him, Lurie has openly stated that Chip has issues connecting with players. Wish I could place a wager on this. Easy money

If Chip ends up a in SF, Kaepernick is exactly the kind of QB he wants to run his offense. I wouldn't be shocked to see them show little interest in a QB if he goes there, which is good for us. I'm sure hee would prefer Tennessee though. Less scrutiny, his college QB who's perfect for his offense and the 1st pick in the draft. Hopefully SF is dumb enough to hire him and Goff falls into our laps.
