ESPN ALL Century Offense

Meh, just another judgement call list.
Many names can be added and removed as we seen suggested.

Can't really argue with it.
Only very few Dallas players to consider. Zach Martin for sure. Maybe Travis Frederick could be considered as 2nd place, but Kelce a good choice.

That RB room is comical. LaDanian Tomlinson had an MVP, 3x 1st team All-Pros, and 10,000 rushing yards all before his 29th birthday. Looking it up, Adrian Peterson did the exact same thing.

Derrick Henry has that kind of a resume, but Holmes and McCaffrey? Come on now.

QB is good - you could argue Mahomes vs Rodgers for the third spot, but Brady and Manning are mortal locks. WR could go like ten different ways because there's been so much talent. I agree that Fitz is a huge snub. I would put Walter Jones at LT. Andy Reid needs to be somewhere on the coaching list. Wade was a very good DC, but I would rather go with Dick LeBeau, Jim Johnson, or Vic Fangio.

Also at FB, the Chargers used to have an absolute sledgehammer in front of Tomlinson named Lorenzo Neal. I'd give him a nod.

It is a shame how the Cardinals underperformed with Larry Fitzgerald. I would replace Julio Jones with him. Otherwise, I am okay with the overall list.
I recently only became aware of how good Julio’s career was.

In 2011-2012, I would debate Falcons fans over Dez v Julio, and their arguments at the time were pretty weak.

It wasn’t until 2015-2016ish that I was able to recognize Julio as the better player, but Julio’s career, as it was happening, kind of slipped my radar.

Dude was an all time great.

But yeah give me Fitz

Martin was good, but Dallas has had far better o'lineman in the past. Just my opinion.
Martin was good? He’s one of the all-time greats for the Cowboys. The only ones you could argue that were better were Rayfield Wright, Larry Allen and maybe Erik Williams before his injury. None of them were “far” better. You sound like one of those fans that just remembers his last couple of injury plagued seasons. During the brunt of his career, he was as steady and dominant as we’ve had on the OL. He hardly ever gave up a sack. He’s a lock first ballot Hall of Famer and will be in the ROH.

Adrian Peterson and LaDainian Tomlinson > Priest Homes and Christian McCaffrey

Only one Center? Why not add T-Freddy then?
Both Peterson and Tomlinson should be on the list. A big whiff putting Holmes and McCafferty ahead of them.

But this isn't exactly true either. His first 4-5 years could be considered dominant. The next 3 as really solid but not dominant & the final 3 as declining quickly.

So out of 11 years he was dominant for less than half or at best half thus not the brunt of his career.

Larry & Eric were leagues above him and quite frankly almost anyone else who have ever played the game. Wright, I can't really speak to.

He was dominant until after he got his deal reworked in August 2023 after holding out. Jerry said he wouldn’t get anymore money but caved because he was still a dominant player. The injuries started that season and they carried over into 2024. You’re wrong about Allen and Williams being leagues above him. Allen was clearly better but certainly not leagues ahead of him and Williams was only better for a short time until his car accident. Zack Martin was one of the all-time great Cowboys players. He was a model of consistency until the 2023 season.

This is the same guy that claimed Martin was garbage four years ago

not surprised at this; never shown much judgement before....

Are you serious? That’s absolutely laughable! You must hate Zack Martin. lol He was named All Pro 7 times which is the same number of times Larry Allen was named All Pro. Williams was named All Pro three times.

Fredbeard should be #2 for sure. Honestly, Kelce and Fredbeard are the two best centers over the past 25 years. Creed Humphries getting his due with Kelce retired. Kelce the only one listed because given time played and accolades, no one is even close to him.

Yes, he was still being "named" as an All Pro. He was not earning them later in his career. They would have probably "named" him All Pro last year if he hadn't been forced off the field. That's how much integrity the All Pro selection has at this point. Voted on by people who aren't putting in the time to truly evaluate every player. Kinda like the Oscars voters who weren't even watching all the films they were voting on.

I agree it's laughable. It's laughable that die hard fans don't understand what the players on their own teams are really doing or not doing as the case might be. Just go along with the platitudes that are fed to them.

You always misrepresent the facts. I said he was no longer dominant & declining.

I was proven completely correct. Anyone arguing now can only be doing so out of stubborn refusal to yield so said facts.

You must hate Zack Martin.
How is it hate to say he was dominant for the first part of his career?

I'm only giving an unbiased, realistic assessment of the entirety of his career. Not the "we haven't won anything in thirty years so we are going to fluff up any of our players that have something to brag about regardless of what our eyes saw".

They just hand out All Pros. He’s one of the few cowboy players ever to be named All Pro as a rookie. Zack Martin was such a great player that the experts practically every year were calling him the best player on the team. A lot of the rankings had Zack Martin as the best player on the team.
Larry & Eric were leagues above him and quite frankly almost anyone else who have ever played the game.
That has to be one of the most ridiculous comments I’ve ever read on this board. That’s absolutely ludicrous! Wow! lol

You either hate him or you have no clue. Some of the comments you made are beyond ridiculous. I’m sorry, but you can’t be taken seriously. Not wasting anymore time with this.

Frederick 2nd choice Centre and Tyrone Smith 2nd choice Left Tackle for me.
