Yes they absolutely do because its voted by media. Surely everyone can agree that the bulk of the media today has little to no integrity. Do you really think 300 media members are putting in the time to study the best players at each position in depth enough to support their vote? Or they just vote on name brand? Personal bias? What other members are doing?

When Zack was young, all that was true. They kept saying it long after it became untrue.

Larry Allen is arguably the best OL to ever play the game. He is certainly on the very short list of players who could be considered. Zack is no where close to that argument. There are many who think that Eric was Larry's equal or better. That is a justifiable argument considering the level of players he whipped into submission. Sorry, but those guys are amongst the very best to ever lace them up in league history, not just Cowboys history.

Zack certainly has a place in the pecking order but he's clearly not at the top even in Cowboys lore.

Stop diverting! This was hate or you simply don’t have a clue. If you think Allen and Williams were better, fine but no way were they “leagues” ahead of him. Most would probably rank them ahead of Martin especially Allen but to say almost anyone else whoever played the game was better is Ludacris! You’re completely lost if you honestly believe that.

It’s a waste of time if you’re going to keep down playing how good Martin was. I’m in no mood to spend all day on this. He was one of the all-time great Cowboys. You seem to think because the Cowboys never won anything with him that diminishes what he did as a player. You probably feel the same way about Jason Witten. We never won anything with him either.

He had been claiming this kind of garbage for at least four years I can remember.
seriously, I think if Martin was still playing and getting ALL Pros he would have killed himself by now

You seem to have a problem that we haven’t won anything in 30 years and that reflects on some of the great players we’ve had. It takes a total team and great coaching to win. The Chicago Bears never made the playoffs with Dick Butkus, but that didn’t diminish what he was as a player.
