ARLINGTON, Texas -- Anthony Spencer was never a forgotten man for the Dallas Cowboys, he was just somebody the team had patience for. Spencer made his season debut on Sunday night and played 22 snaps, getting three tackles and one quarterback hurry in the 38-17 victory over the Saints. Spencer's return to the field follows microfracture surgery on his knee. Few players return from such a surgery in the NFL, especially a pass-rusher such as Spencer.
