IRVNG, Texas -- With the draft complete, the NFL is back into lockdown mode.
Linebacker Bruce Carter and running back DeMarco Murray had brief meet-and-greet sessions Saturday when they flew to town, but the Cowboys are no longer allowed to speak with their rookies until the lockout is lifted. The rookies said they would call veterans, likely at their positions, to check in on about working out and learning the schemes.
Veterans will not be allowed to work out at Valley Ranch during the lockout after a brief respite in the rules on Friday.
