ESPN - Are the Cowboys done?

We didn't do ourselves any favors by losing last night but it's not over its just uphill.

I don't see a problem going 6-2 to 8-0 although the former is more likely. We only play one team that has a winning record, we're two back in the lost column, and we have 4 games in the division left with our best chance to go to the playoffs being win the division. There's not a great deal of difference between any of the NFC East's teams IMO.

The overall problem is our offense has failed and has done so generally speaking since the final four games of 2007. It can get better but whether it does will go a long way in answering the question of will we make the playoffs.
 
Not sure why we have to go as far as "Done" i think coach had it right, momentum is a funny thing, with the schedule the way it is its absolutely insane to think the season is over. There are to many factors that play into it and i think its crazy halfway through the season to think its over. I truly hope that no players in the locker room believe this and keep fighting to the end. No matter what.
 
Mathematically we are not done.

Mentally, this team hasn't started the season yet. Unless the playcalling fairy visits jg, the good hands fairy comes to all our wrs, the false-start fairy comes to our tackles, and the turnover fairy visits the defense, this team isn't going anywhere.
 
The frustraiting thing is this team fights from whistle to whistle, for that i am proud of them. Id like to think they will turn it but im not laying any money on it. This game vs the eagles is a HUGE one.
 
I thought Smith was gonna cry there for a second. Is he a closet Cowboys fan that won't admit it?

He was spot on with his assessment this time though.

Really? I saw a whole lot of 'give up' in the Seattle and Chicago games.

You remember the Chicago game right? Free and one of the other fatties were yucking it up on the sideline in the middle of a home humiliation.

I have to agree with you there.

At this point I'd be grateful for 8-8.
 
This team is done it has proven it the last two games. Always something with this team.

They are not going 6-2 and they are not sweeping the skins or Eagles in fact I would not be surprise if we go 0-2 against the eagles and split with the Commanders I think we are finishing 2-4 in the division.

They play down to the competions level and will make bone head turn overs, drop easy first down catches; miss wide open wr in tight parts of the game, and pretty much come up short in every aspect of the game some way some how and lose.
 
If we can somehow beat the Eagles, Browns, Commanders... I know, I know. But still..got to hold on to hope or why keep watching??? We will have a better picture of how done we are after Turkey Day. For now, its too soon to say DONE.
