IRVING, Texas -- Barry Church didn’t have to think long about the last time he scored a touchdown in a game. “My freshman year (at Toledo) I took a pick 84 yards for a touchdown against Kansas on ESPN,” Church said. Church’s 27-yard fumble return for a score was the Cowboys’ first of two defensive touchdowns in their 36-31 win against the Giants. Church’s perfect scoop-and-score technique was something the Cowboys coaches loved to see considering all the time the defenders spent picking up loose balls in practices in the spring and summer.
