I dont care how well these guys run jump and swim coming out of college.

I care about how they produced.

This kid produced big, with limited carries, in the best defensive conference in the country.

He has a high ceiling and just because he benches 225 8 times today doesnt mean he will be doing that this time next year or a year after.

To me this just shows he has a lot more room to grow and has the skills to do it.

Plus if he can bench 225 8 times hes benching around 300 for his total max.

Yes, Julius was a HR threat when we drafted him. He is puzzling to me. As far as 8 reps go, WHO CARES? We have a FULL TIME strength and conditioning coach. Wonder how many reps Emmit did? Oh-- I guess 4.4 is slow now. Wonder what MBIII is in the 40? Dont you get it? Is he a player or not? This combine is waaaaaaaay overvalued. The only positive things are the Wonderlic and the physicals. Throw the rest out.

Marion Barber ran a 4.53 at the combine and a 4.49 at his Pro Day. Yesterday Felix Jones ran a 4.47. Since 1999 there hasn't been a single RB drafted who has been noteworthy in any way who benched fewer than 15 reps at the combine. The only two names people will recognize are Michael Bennett and Reuben Droughns.

I think the Cowboys should go running back in the first. I doubt Rice, Charles or Johnson will be there in the second round when the Cowboys pick. Remember, the wide receiver position last year, which was deep but didn't last until the end of the second round.

No, BUST is written all over this guy. When you watch him play, he always bounces it outside. He never runs between the tackles. Why? Well, if you can only do 8 reps, I'd be scared too.

Plus, He only ran a 4.4--That's not that fast. Mendenhall was faster. I think his college output was inflated because people let up when McFadden went out.

Dude, the film shows that he ALWAYS bounces it outside! The film scares me about him. Plus, Hambrick looked great as Emmitt's backup. I think defenses let up when the stars leave the field.

Both list Jones with 8 reps

nfl.com does not seem to be posting results; it seems to be more of an extension of the network (videos, etc.). Someone with more free time may have better luck than me.

A lot of high jinks occur and misinformation gets circulated prior to the draft. If somebody wanted to ruin a running back's reputation, there might be no better way to do it.

If there is no link, is there a radio or TV report that can be checked?

Its been posted and his agent has not squawked about it so odds are very high that it is indeed true that he only did 8 reps.
