ARLINGTON, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bruce Carter will make his return Monday night against the Washington Commanders after a three-game absence because of a quadriceps injury. Carter practiced all week and was with the starters during the portion of practice open to the media. It’s not clear if he will continue to work in the nickel defense or if the Cowboys will pair Rolando McClain with Justin Durant. For the Commanders, quarterback Robert Griffin III is inactive but he took part in some pre-game drills as he works his way back from a dislocated ankle injury.
