After the San Diego Chargers' game, Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bruce Carter lost his starting job on the base and nickle defenses. It was a humbling feeling for Carter, who allowed two touchdown passes in the loss to the Chargers. Sunday against the Denver Broncos, Carter played 39 snaps and was credited with four tackles and a tackle for loss. He started the game on the nickle defense and didn't enter the game on the base defense until 10:25 played in the first half.
