Video: ESPN: Can the Giants still win the division?

If the Eagles beat Carolina this weekend the conversation is going to be going in a different tune. I wouldn't count them out, and I would have liked to see them get beaten on Monday.

It's not going to be that easy for the Cowboys. They talk about the Giants bad offensive play and yet they have better personnel than the Cowboys at the skill positions. Our defense is supposed to improve but if the offense can't muster first downs it will not matter. It'll be very difficult to win in New York as it's always been for as far as I can remember.

We jut need the division to stink it up for four more weeks. Once number 9 gets back we can hang with anybody in the league.

My hope is Dallas gets it going and we win the division. As bad as NY looks now I know they are capable of turning things around and making a push. This is a vet team who has been to the SB and won. I never underestimate them or Philly

The eagles losing monday would have put us in a very bad spot.

FYI. We've won the last three in N.Y.

Yep. I give Philly a much better shot at being a contender at the end than I do NY. Was pulling for NY in that one...plus I just hate Philly more than I hate NY.

I don't know with Bradford at QB, best WR is cooper and an offense teams have figured out I don't see that much hope for Philly. Not to mention they have a harder schedule than NY

You bring up valid points with the schedule and QB difference...almost to the point of making me change my mind. I just think the advantage Philly has over NY on defense outweighs NY's advantage on offense. I also consider who I would least rather have to face in a win and in game, and I keep thinking Philly is the tougher out.

The Eagles are going to get demolished by Carolina. Bradford against that front? He's crapping his knickers as we speak.

I agree with you there Philly strength is their defense and currently the OL in NY can't block for Eli. I don't discount either of them at this stage of the season but when looking at the schedule for both teams I just felt Philly had a little bit harder of a road than NY. Main thing is Dallas needs to get healthy and winning games. We still control our own destiny and thankfully the 2 wins we do have are vs Philly and NY.

I think Dallas has won 5 of the last 6 games in New York.

Yes. Take care of our own business and nothing else will matter (stay in contention until Tony returns). I just looked at the schedules for Philly and NY, and they're pretty close. They have five common opponents remaining (Car,Dallas,Mia, NE, and one game head to head), then Philly has Buffalo and Arizona (both at home) while NY is @ NO, @ Minn and home against the Jets. I know that NO and Minn is debatable as to being tough games, but I'm looking at the NO game being in NO, and I'm just not sure what Minn is...mediocre or good?

I doubt it, just when you think the Eagles are done they win. Remember the JETS game? Carolina is due for a stinker, right after that sky high win in Seattle. Hope I am wrong of course.

This is the same Eagles that had 16 yards and one first down against Dallas in a half of football. That offense is fatally flawed, that quarterback is scared out of his mind, that running back can't run from that formation, and that interior offensive line is a disaster.

All I know is Romo owns the new meadowlands (i.e., Metlife)--He is 4-1 there.

He's won five in a row against the Giants, and the one he lost, he had an injured thumb on his throwing hand.
