2005 ? When Cooley had yards, more receptions and more TDs.... npe didn't forget 2005 ... or 2006 when Witten had 30 more yards and 5 less TD's

Don't get me wrong Witten is a beast but don't just hate for the sake of hating ..

Anybody with an ounce of reading comprehension could tell Bob wasn't making a Chris Cooley reference there. He was solely remarking on the "Witten only catches balls because of TO" comment. He pointed out a ProBowl season by Witten where TO wasn't on the team (and I pointed out another one).

Witten not flashy, but he's always getting opened, very good hands, solid blocker. I think all of that goes into the decision, because you can't just catch balls, you have to bring the entire package.

I think Witten is the best TE in the league, but that's me and my biased opinion.

As far as complete package goes, Witten is only 2nd to Tony G, IMO.

Gates and Winslow are fantastic receivers but in no way are they equal to Witten in terms of blocking.
