1. Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys had a chance to rest and regroup during their bye week, but they seem to come out of the bye a little more fractured than before. Marion Barber has a fractured thumb. DeMarcus Ware has a fracture in his foot. Wide receiver Patrick Crayton has a fractured ego after finding out he was benched. It's going to be up to Tony Romo to bring this team together against a Falcons team that is playing at a high level and is thinking about Week 8's big showdown against the New Orleans Saints. There have been a lot of people reviewing the Roy E. Williams trade, which happened a year ago this week. The former Detroit Lion has only 30 catches for 412 yards in his 14 games as a Cowboy. He's back from a rib injury, but his numbers need to pick up dramatically as the team heads into the second half of the season.

When during a regular season did we last read or hear any positive news about the Cowboys?

I can't remember.

And we still won't until they put together a winning streak of the next 4 games, and do it the way it was expected.

Not necessarily blowouts, but just good solid performances.

That's a reasonable expectation. Until the offense can finally find it's footing for four quarters a game, a good win is better than none at all. One of the keys for achieving that first goal is for injuries sustained Barber, Williams, Felix Jones and the offensive line to not be a hindrance for improving consistency. Let's get the train back firmly on the tracks before hoping that it's completely ready to go full steam ahead.

The Cowboys are finally having all starters back for this game offense and defense. They also just upgraded WR and the return game.

The Falcolns on the other hand have injuries, just to name a few, to their backup RB and FB, and just lost their best CB with no depth behind him.

But...oh wait...I forgot. Clayton's point was to just "hate" on the Cowboys. So never mind! It's the full-strength Cowboys who are fractured, not the injury-riddled Falcolns.

Sorry, my bad!

They go on and on about the Cowboys suck and have ZERO chance to win. Drop the 'can't win the big game' and the 'playoffs in 12 years' thing; Then on gameday the line favors Dallas (though it won't this week I'm sure) and many of these same talking heads pick Dallas to win.

As I said earlier, if the Cowboys were to beat the Falcons by at least nine points, I would be thoroughly impressed.
