IRVING, Texas -- As you get ready for another week of NFL playoffs, just remember the NFL draft is just a short five months away. Actually a little less than that now. The draft will be May 8-10. The Cowboys have eight picks in the draft and will learn if they pick No. 16 or 17 after a coin flip at next month’s NFL Scouting Combine. After the 8-8 finish, they are in a dead heat with the Baltimore Ravens. The Cowboys have picks in the first five rounds, and three picks in the seventh round.
