The Cowboys made their first move of the free-agency period on Day 2, by reaching an agreement with defensive tackle Terrell McClain on a three-year deal according to multiple sources. McClain, a third-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2011, has played for three NFL teams, most recently the Houston Texans in 2013 where he played in 16 games and recorded eight tackles. The Cowboys envision McClain as the pass-rusher inside, the three-technique position Jason Hatcher played last year, and to create competition along the defensive line that is lacking depth.Continue reading...
