IRVING, Texas -- With rookie safety J.J. Wilcox out of Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions with a knee injury, the Dallas Cowboys called up Jakar Hamilton from the practice squad. To make room for Hamilton the Cowboys cut guard David Arkin, a fourth-round draft pick in 2011, who did not see an offensive snap in two seasons. If he clears waivers, he could be brought back to the practice squad. This season, Arkin was inactive for six games and did not play in the only game that he was active for.
