IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys did not want to pay Sterling Moore $1.5 million in 2015, but they were willing to claim Corey White’s similar contract off waivers from the New Orleans Saints. The Saints cut White on Friday after signing Brandon Browner in free agency. A fifth-round pick in 2012, White started 19 of the 41 games he played for the Saints. He had four interceptions in his three seasons. The Cowboys have cornerback needs after not tendering Moore, who started seven games in 2014 and helped solidify the secondary with the early suspension of Orlando Scandrick and the season-ending knee injury suffered by Morris Claiborne.
