IRVING, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys informed defensive tackle Henry Melton that they will not pick up the option for the final three years of the contract he signed last year. The Cowboys had to make the decision by Sunday. Had they picked up the option, Melton’s $9-million base salary in 2015 would have been fully guaranteed.
