I know what you mean. The draft is just a big crap shoot, any hoot. We rarely pick up the guys I like, but I seem to like the guys we've been picking lately. Maybe that makes me a homer, but I'm fine with that.

I LOVED Spears last year. I thought if San Diego passed on him right after us, we had a good chance, since no 3-4 teams were between pick 12-19, and Spears' ideal position seemed to be 3-4 end.

what's wrong with Jason Allen? I think if he didn't have that injury he would have been gone by time Dallas picked at #18. I think he is exactly what you look for in a FS, someone who is a ball hawk and fluid, and also someone who can stop the run.

Yeah, I'm not sold on Allen at #18.

For example, I think Cromartie is a much better prospect than Allen and I'm sure most scouts feel the same.
