Smash em Leary is back and Bernadooo(lol) backs up C/G. lack of position flex hurts Collins atm.

It only hurts him because the team has not worked him at tackle. Waste of raw talent.

Indeed. That is actually a textbook example of "lost in the shuffle." It will be interesting to see if he can do anything.

if he can put up his arms then it would be a big help against Brees.

Bc we have a seasoned vet that has continuity with the rest of the line. Why start a rookie, when you have the luxury of letting then learn in limited action?

understood but i thought at least collins would be a backup. depth is good. but im sure im missing something here.

I would like to see Collins in short yardage situations, either as a blocking FB or TE. Him being inactive does nothing but stunt his growth, I dont care about Berny's position flex, the guy is a bum. Martin can play any position on the OL in a pinch, so there's that.

Berry is decent depth. If you have Collins active instead of Bern, who backs up Fred?
